Peppermint Mocha Creamer

I love a good peppermint mocha. I’m way more of a peppermint mocha girly than I am a PSL girly. I decided to make my own creamer with better for me ingredients including real chocolate, cacao powder, and maple syrup to sweeten it.

Maple syrup is a better sweetener option that won’t leave you with that same crash you may experience after having other sugary coffee beverages. Compared to cane sugar, maple syrup has a lower glycemic index meaning it has less of an impact on raising your blood sugar levels. More stable blood sugar means more stable energy levels.

Cacao powder also has a ton of antioxidants and minerals which are often missing from most peppermint mocha syrups out there made with sugar and flavorings.
